CONSTELLATIONS
Landor_Space
Director Alex Johnson and producer Nicky Radford bring English playwright Nick Payne’s two-hander, Constellations to the stage. Science and romance collide in this unusual love story that has wowed audiences on Broadway and the West End.
Constellations is a play about love. And about the concepts of free will and fate within the quantum multiverse theory. But mostly about love. Oh, and there’s a bit about bees.
Nick Payne’s vibrant play premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in January 2012, before transferring to the West End, playing on Broadway and embarking on a nationwide tour. This two-hander featuring the characters of Roland and Marianne, studies the infinite possibilities within one relationship and looks at the impact of each and every decision ever made. A tender, bitter-sweet love story, Constellations has been hailed by critics as one of the great plays of the decade.
